  • Activities: Over 30 rides for all preferences, from high-speed rollercoasters to gentle fairground attractions.

London Excursion (13-night campers):

  • Exclusive for 13-night camp participants.
  • Highlights: Visit iconic landmarks like Buckingham Palace and The Houses of Parliament, plus afternoon shopping in the capital.

Transportation

  • Airport Transfer Service: Available for children arriving/departing at Heathrow or Gatwick during specified times. Must be booked in advance.

  • Parent Airport Drop-off/Collection: Specific times for drop-off and collection at Heathrow or Gatwick. Book this service if an adult is handling child's airport transfer.

  • Arrival: For flights arriving 08:00 - 16:00 on Monday. Staff meet children in arrivals hall. Supervised transfer to camp venue, with potential short wait for other arrivals.

  • Departure: For flights departing 11:00 - 18:00 on Sunday. Staff assist with airport check-in and coordinate with airline’s unaccompanied minor service if needed.

Lesson Plan

Players can choose from either Total Tennis or Tennis + English sessions.

Option 1: Total Tennis

  • Up to 24 hours a week of tennis coaching and match play
  • Up to 8 hours a week of sports-related workshops. Workshop topics:
    • Nutrition: Importance of diet and hydration in sports performance.
    • Diversity & Inclusion: Promoting equality and embracing diversity in sports.
    • Elite Performance: Insights into achieving top-level athletic success.
    • Yoga: Focused on injury prevention and enhancing flexibility.
    • Wellness: Education on physical and mental health habits.
  • Recovery Activities: Yoga and other exercises to manage daily training intensity.
  • Suitable for all English language abilities except beginners

Option 2: Tennis + English

  • Up to 24 hours a week of tennis coaching and match play
  • Up to 13 hours a week of English Language lessons using an accelerated model of English learning
  • Suitable for all English language abilities
  • 1:12 teacher to student ratio (average).
  • Individual take-home report.
  • Sport-themed classes using CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning) for engaging and interactive English learning.
  • Activities include sports-based projects, discussions, and exercises like player interviews and match commentaries.
  • Emphasis on improving verbal communication in English.
  • English teachers live on-site, ensuring English is spoken throughout the camp.
  • Based on age and ability, with an online assessment pre-camp and teacher evaluation on arrival for accurate placement.
  • Players receive a written report and advice for continued learning at home.

Extras

  • Pocket Money Advice: Regarding pocket money, while everything is covered in the camp, players can bring around £50 - £200 in cash or a UK-activated credit/debit card for optional snacks on-camp and souvenirs during trips. The cash will be kept in the camp bank, except for small amounts for on-site snacks. Bringing spending money is optional.

  • Extra nights: £250 not available at any venue before the first camp start date or after the final camp end date.

  • 24/7 Pastoral Care Team: On-site team dedicated to ensuring children's safety, well-being, and adherence to camp schedules, including sufficient sleep.

  • Mandatory Insurance: Participants must have travel and medical insurance covering medical treatment costs, additional accommodation, travel, transport, and repatriation expenses.

  • Post-Brexit Healthcare Consideration: European citizens should note changes in healthcare access in the UK post-Brexit, requiring comprehensive insurance coverage.

  • Children must bring and present medical insurance policy documents at camp registration.
