In summer, your children can enjoy sports, adventure, and language immersion on the slopes of Villars-Gryon-Les Diablerets in Switzerland. This international camp, amidst Alpine meadows, caters to kids aged 8-14, ensuring they thrive in nature and experience a safe, joyous childhood, accompanied by experienced staff.

Mornings focus on language, while afternoons offer diverse activities like tennis and cabin visits. Evenings are filled with themed shows and memorable buffets for a summer of exploration and care.

Location

This international camp, is located in the Swiss Alps at an altitude of 1200 meters, near the well-known ski resort of Villars-sur-Ollon.

Villars-sur-Ollon is located in the Canton of Vaud, 120 km from Geneva. In the heart of French-speaking part of Switzerland, this ideal location allows our families to reach Zurich, Milan, Paris, in 3 hours.

What's Included

Boarding Camps:

Day Camps:

  • Mornings: Language courses or revision class (French or English).

  • Activities: Practice and equipment for sports. Excursions, visits to parks, shopping trips.

  • Uniform: Compulsory school uniform includes 2 tee-shirts and sweatshirt.

  • Transportation: Free minibus shuttle from Villars-Chesières.

Notes for Day Campers:

  • Welcoming from 9:00 am to 6 pm. (4:30pm for children 3-4 yo).

  • We do not cater for the day pupils on the week-end.

  • No return shuttle at 4:30pm. Parents are kindly asked to pick up children under 5 years directly from the school at 4:30pm.

  • Our insurance doesn’t cover the day pupils, the children have to be insured directly by the parents.

  • Bedrooms are assigned based on gender, age, and nationality, with each room housing 4 to 6 beds.

  • Swiss culinary specialties like fondue and raclette are featured, along with themed buffet feasts for young gourmets.

Transportation

Geneva airport transfers:

  • Group transfer each Saturday - Chf. 250.- /transfer: Meetings and welcome of the children travelling UM (unaccompanied), according to the following slots:

  • Arrivals between 12:00am & 2:00pm

  • Departures between 11:00am & 1:00pm

  • Individual taxi transfer (on request) - Chf. 600.- / way: Trusted driver who welcomes and accompanies the children

Lesson Plan

  • In the morning: Classroom lessons in French, English or Tutoring.
  • In the afternoon: Various sports, with tree top trails, mountain biking, kayaking, optional horseback riding, orienteering, team sports, tennis, rock climbing, martial arts, rafting, horse riding lessons and many more. 
  • An array of activities: Log cabin in the forest, swimming pool, ice-skating, banana boat rides, swiss experience, camping, outdoor laser-game, bowling, summer sledge, canyoning and more.

Themed Weeks

In addition to the previously mentioned activities, we also provide a themed week designed for the more persistent and daring individuals.

Expedition week (From 6th July until 12th July):

  • From 10 years old.
  • Three days of hiking in the mountains, going from refuge to refuge
  • An extra special adventure to discover our Swiss Alpine peaks.
  • Group Size – Max. 15 participants

Swiss Tour (From 13th July until 19th July):

  • Reserved for children from 10 to 14 years old.
  • Explore the 4 corners of Switzerland. Each day will be a new destination to discover.
  • New for 2024: A day at Europapark!
  • Group Size – Max. 14 participants

Urban Art (From 20thJuly until 26th July)

  • For aspiring artists who would like to learn about urban art
  • Creativity in the making: Drawing, signature, graffiti through different media!
  • Learn how to use a stencil marker and spray paint with expressive art form.
  • Group Size – Max. 15 participants

Masterchef (From 27th July until 2nd August):

  • “You are what you eat”, so we begin to learn how to cook delicious meals, and quickly !
  • Main dishes for this week are bread & chocolate making, discovery of the Swiss gastronomy and much more.
  • Group Size – Max. 15 participants

Catamaran Courses (From 3rd August until 9th August)

  • Dedicated to those who wish to acquire the basics of boat safety and navigating, manoeuvring a boat, and working in teams of 2 to 3 people on a catamaran.
  • Group Size – Max. 8 participants

Extras

  • Group transfer each Saturday - Chf. 250.- /transfer: Meetings and welcome of the children travelling UM (unaccompanied)

  • Individual taxi transfer (on request) - Chf. 600.- / way: Trusted driver who welcomes and accompanies the children

Optional Activities:

  • Horse-riding initiation from 6 yrs (minimum 5 participants): Chf 250.- / week (2 hours twice a week)

  • Swiss Tour week from 10 yrs (min. 7 / max. 14): Chf 900.- (pocket money included, on request, only boarding camps)

  • Expedition week from 10 yrs (min. 5 / max. 15): Chf 500.-

  • MasterChef week from 10 yrs (min. 5 / max. 15): Chf 250.-

  • Catamaran week from 8 yrs(min.5 / max. 8): Chf 250.-

  • Urban Art week from 8 yrs (min.5 / max. 15): Chf 250.

Security

  • A dedicated team lives in the chalet, ensuring round-the-clock supervision of the children.

  • Each child has a specific team member responsible for their care.

  • A resident, qualified paramedic is available for medical treatments, temperature checks, and liaising with local doctors.

  • The resort has three general practitioners, and in case of major incidents, children are transferred to the pediatric hospital in Aigle, 10 km away, with parents kept in constant contact.
