Excursions

2 full-day excursions per week

**London **: Thames river cruise, photo ops at Tower of London, Westminster sights including Big Ben and Parliament, lunch in St. James’s Park. Souvenir shopping on Oxford Street; Piccadilly Circus and Leicester Square visit.

British Museum, lunch in Russell Square, Covent Garden visit. City walk for first-time visitors; Science Museum, Hyde Park, and South Kensington shopping for others.

**Cambridge **: City walking tour, climb Great St Mary’s Church tower, shopping at Grand Arcade. Punting on the River Cam and a museum visit on.

Chessington World of Adventures: Family theme park with rollercoasters, a zoo, and an aquarium.

Transportation

  • Airport Transfers: Included for Heathrow and Stansted arrivals/departures on Sundays.

  • Arrival/departure time: Arrive by 20:00 on Sunday before course; depart on Sunday after course.

  • Aim for 14:00-17:00 on Sunday at accommodation.

  • For transfers to or from Gatwick or Luton airports on Sundays a supplement is charged.

  • Inform us if arranging your own transfer to accommodation.

  • Our team meets you at the airport, with transport to accommodation.

  • Unaccompanied Minors (UM): Check airline rules for under 18 travel; provide our contact details.

  • Travel Rules for Under 18s: Verify country-specific travel consent requirements. Parental Consent is required for under 18s traveling without parents.

  • Possible one-hour wait at airport for group assembly.

  • Journey From Airport: Be prepared for a non-stop journey; no toilet stops.

English Tuition

  • 20 lessons/15 hours of tuition per week – 3 hours per day on 5 days

Typical Day

Morning Lessons (09:00-10:30): Focus on "A true friend" with past tenses and speaking practice.

Late Morning Lessons (11:00-12:30): London-themed reading race.

Afternoon Activities:

  • 14:00-15:00: Music video planning project.
  • 15:15-17:30: Visit to Ely city center.

Evening Activity (19:15-20:30): Disco.

Extras

  • Gatwick Airport Transfer: 215 GBP/one-way for a car to Cambridge, and 255 GBP/one-way for a car to Sir Edward in Ely.

  • Pocket Money Advice: Students should bring about £80 per week for personal expenses like souvenirs and snacks. For younger students at residential camps, it's advised to deposit money in the 'school bank' for safekeeping, accessible at set times.
