Those attending The Eagle programme are setting off upon journeys of their own, hungry for new horizons and an independence which will help shape them as young adults. Each week of our Summer School is designed to give them expert guidance, while encouraging them to wholeheartedly engage with exciting new experiences - whether that is physically on our mountain during challenging expeditions, or academically in the classroom. The Eagle is aimed toward teenagers who are hungry to experience more challenging subject matter, to get to grips with ideas that go beyond the fundamental and really delve into fascinating opportunities for discovery. As such, we have developed a range of courses which reflect The Eagle students’ readiness for more complex ideas, featuring a structure that places emphasis upon both individual achievement and the development of greater teamwork skills. Each academic option is led by experienced teachers, who regularly audit their curriculum to ensure students receive the most effective and most relevant educational experience available.
We have so much more, activities, excursion etc. If you want to explore more get more details here it.
Location
Avenue Centrale 61 1885 Chesières Switzerland
Our life here is inherently healthy, invigorating and inspiring – the students climb hills and see views on their way to the next classroom that would impress seasoned hikers. And that helps us to create an atmosphere not just of achievement, but also of challenge:
We are a place where staff and students - together - push themselves to new levels.
Combining purpose-built teaching and boarding facilities with renovated, traditionally Swiss buildings and chalets, the campus is like no other. Our school grounds and facilities are nestled amongst the Swiss Alpine village of Chesières and allow students to enjoy breath-taking mountain scenery as they stroll between classes.

Lesson Plan
At summer camp , the primary language is English, and as a result students receive a high degree of exposure to the language during their day-to-day interactions. We know from decades of experience that combining recreational activities with interactive learning methods results in students receiving an effective and enjoyable linguistic education. Our Interactive English course - available for students of beginner, intermediate, and advanced abilities - provides the opportunity to gain a greater practical and theoretical insight into this valuable language. Through interactive games and collaborative classroom activities, students will develop their skills on the path to becoming confident and competent English language communicators. Our passionate educators have crafted a curriculum which embraces project-led methods for engaging students with the tools they need to take their language learning to the next level.
Our campus is housed in the Swiss Alpine environment, and as such the mother tongue of our host country is French. Our courses place great emphasis upon incorporating interactive approaches to learning a language, and students will discover opportunities to explore the surrounding regions, utilising the skills learnt with our passionate teachers. As part of the Summer School activities schedule, we hold a French social evening, during which all students learning French come together for an additional opportunity to practice their improved skill set with fellow summer friends and Francophone staff. We fully embrace the concept that enjoyable educational exercises, supported by interactive activities and new experiences are an excellent method for students to absorb their new language.
At summer camp , with such a diverse student group, we love a curious and international mindset. This new course offers our older students a chance to take part in a varied programme that looks at international relations, business development and global politics. Each morning will touch on a different subject that will offer discussion and debate. Students will also practice and develop presentation and communication skills, with an additional emphasis on both professional and social etiquette. A course to develop awareness on a global scale!
Summer camp has the perfect setting for a leadership course, using the school campus and the surrounding mountain environment. This course teaches the key elements of leadership, and includes some classroom theoretical learning which will then be taken and practiced outdoors. The course has a varied structure with practical activities including camp craft and survival skills, body language and public speaking, team challenges, map reading and orienteering. The Summer School overnight expedition is an excellent way for students to put into practice some of the skills they have learnt during the course.
This is a morning course for the students to take advantage of our wonderful surroundings, and how to take the perfect picture with our skilled photography tutor! The students will then learn how to develop and edit their photos, building a portfolio of portrait and landscape photography.
There are those students that just live for the challenge of sport, and the joy of team games! This active morning course will focus on teaching students tennis, padel tennis, volleyball, table tennis, badminton, golf and other team sports in a group lesson environment. During the course students will also explore the local community and experience the varied mountain geography.
