Location

A 3,000 sqm building in the heart of Milan with brand new facilities, three labs (Photography, Fashion, Product Design), a library and many relax areas.

Accommodation

Students will stay in a newly built university residence located in the city center. The residence includes a gym, movie rooms, common spaces and every student will sleep in single studio rooms with a private bathroom and kitchenette.

COURSE: STYLING & SHOOTING

In this course, students discover the fundamentals of styling and editorial shooting. Participants learn the theory behind creating visually appealing looks and scenes. They also gain practical experience in planning and executing editorial shoots, covering aspects such as location scouting, model selection, and wardrobe coordination.

COURSE: TAILORING & SUSTAINABILITY

In this course, students learn to create unique garments from recycled materials while they acquire knowledge of sewing, fabric manipulation, and decoration techniques. The course covers design development, material recovery, and crafting. Participants will finish with a personalized piece and a heightened awareness of sustainable fashion. The experience culminates in a small fashion show or presentation.

What level of English should participants have?

As the course is conducted entirely in English, we recommend participants have a minimum B1 level of proficiency to fully engage in the program.

How many hours of fashion-related activities will the participants engage in?

The program consists of 15 hours of theoretical learning in the mornings and 15 hours of practical workshops in the afternoons.

Who are the teachers?

The course will be taught by professors from the Raffles Design Institute. 

Can you accommodate special dietary requirements?

Yes, we can accommodate special dietary requirements. Please specify any requirements at the time of booking. All dietary preferences will be confirmed closer to the camp start date.

Are airport transfers included?

Airport transfers are included if arrival and departure are within specified hours (9.00 AM -3.00 PM). For arrivals or departures outside these hours, a fee of €90 per way (Malpensa Airport) or €50 per way (Linate Airport) will apply.

Can parents stay in the same residence as the students?

No, parents are not allowed to stay in the same residence. This policy ensures a full immersion experience for all participants.

Are the students supervised 24/7?

Yes, participants are supervised 24/7, with house parents providing support during nighttime.

Will a certificate be awarded at the end of the course?

Yes, students will receive a certificate upon completion of the course.

Do you provide a VISA support letter?

Yes, we provide VISA support letters for international participants upon request.
