Program Description

The Summer English Program at Pepperdine University offers a complete and academically enriching experience for international students aged 14–17. Set on a stunning campus overlooking the Pacific Ocean, the program helps students strengthen their English language skills, develop critical thinking, and broaden their global perspective.

Students may choose from 2 to 4-week sessions in General English or enroll in a two-week Academic English course. Each week includes engaging English classes in the morning, cultural activities in the afternoon, one full-day excursion, and supervised on-campus housing with all meals provided.

English for Higher Education – This two-week intensive course is designed for students preparing for university study. It focuses on academic writing, reading comprehension, and public speaking skills.

• Courses take place on the Pepperdine University campus

• 20 lessons per week

• Average class size: 14 students

• Courses can be combined for extended study

Every day blends learning, culture, and California sunshine.

8:00 AM – 9:00 AM

Breakfast in the campus dining hall with fellow international students.

9:00 AM – 12:30 PM

English Classes (General or Academic)
