Explore the forces that drive global markets and economic decisions in our Economics Summer School for students aged 13–15, hosted at the prestigious Lady Margaret Hall at the University of Oxford. From supply and demand to behavioural economics, this programme offers a dynamic introduction to the subject, helping students build strong analytical skills and a deeper understanding of the world around them.
Participants will engage in interactive lessons led by experienced tutors, explore real-world economic issues, and develop problem-solving skills that will serve them in both academic and professional settings.

Students will reside at Lady Margaret Hall, a historic college in the University of Oxford known for its lush gardens and riverside setting. All accommodation is fully supervised with 24/7 pastoral care. Rooms are comfortable and shared with fellow students to promote community and collaboration.

This is a full-board programme with breakfast, lunch, and dinner provided daily. Meals are served at the college or local restaurants, with a variety of nutritious options to suit all dietary needs.

Here’s a typical weekday at the Oxford Economics Summer School:
08:00 – Breakfast & Morning Sign-in
09:00 – Interactive Economics Lessons
11:00 – Break
11:15 – Continued Lessons & Group Discussions
13:00 – Lunch
14:00 – Goal Setting, Masterclass, or Directed Study
16:00 – Afternoon Activities (sports, creative workshops, or excursions)
18:30 – Dinner
20:00 – Evening Social Activities (quizzes, movie nights, games)
22:00 – Curfew
Saturdays include cultural excursions and Sundays are for arrivals, relaxation, and orientation.

Sports, scavenger hunts, quizzes, talent shows, and team-building games.
Excursions to iconic Oxford sites such as the Bodleian Library, Ashmolean Museum, and punting on the River Cherwell.
A formal dinner and graduation ceremony to celebrate the end of the programme.

Arrival: Complimentary transfer is provided from London Heathrow Airport for flights landing between 08:00–15:00 BST on the course start date (Sunday).
Departure: Complimentary transfer is provided for flights departing between 08:00–16:00 BST on the course end date (Saturday).
Unaccompanied Minor Service: Free on arrival; £145 for departures. Students are met by airline staff and handed over to Oxford Summer Courses representatives on arrival and assisted with check-in procedures on departure.
