The Cambridge Business, Innovation & Entrepreneurship Summer School offers a dynamic introduction to business, finance, and marketing for students aged 13-15.

Programme Overview:

Develop the skills needed to successfully launch, manage, and grow your own business while exploring the exciting world of innovation. Take on the challenge of the ‘Explore Business Shark Tank Challenge,’ where you will collaborate with classmates to pitch a new business idea.

Connect with like-minded students from around the world and build lasting friendships.

A Typical Day:

A sample schedule for the Business Summer School:

  • 8:00 AM: Breakfast on campus

  • 9:00 AM: Morning lessons (with short breaks)

  • 1:00 PM: Lunch break and free time

  • 2:00 PM: Afternoon lessons

  • 3:30 PM: Business workshops, extracurricular activities, or study sessions

  • 6:00 PM: Dinner on campus

  • 7:00 PM: Public Speaking & Debate Society

  • 8:00 PM: Social events (quiz nights, movie nights, karaoke)

  • 10:00 PM: Curfew

Expert Faculty & Guest Speakers:

Sample tutors and guest speakers from past summer sessions include:

Dr. Anissa Butt – Lecturer in Economics at King's College London, completing a PhD in Economics at the University of Reading, with a research focus on gender and ethnic income inequality.

Simon Morris – Chief Creative Officer at Amazon, co-founder of LOVEFiLM (which later became Amazon Prime). His marketing campaigns have won numerous awards, including an Emmy nomination.

Jason Bradbury – British television presenter and author, best known for hosting The Gadget Show. He has developed innovative DIY gadgets, including a hovercraft and a vehicle head-up display.

Helen Sharman – Astronaut and scientist, the first British astronaut to travel to space in 1991. She now inspires students worldwide with her journey.

Transportation & Transfers:

Students can book an airport transfer from London Heathrow Airport (LHR) for £265 one-way.

  • Arrival flights should land between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM BST.

  • Departure flights should take off between 8:00 AM and 10:00 PM BST.

The transfer service includes airport pickup, transport to campus, flight monitoring for delays, supervision at the airport, and unaccompanied minor paperwork if required.

Graduation Ceremony & Final Celebration:

At the end of the programme, students are invited to a prestigious graduation ceremony where they will receive certificates and celebrate their achievements in an inspiring venue on campus. The ceremony is followed by a final graduation party, where students can reflect on their experiences and friendships before departing.
