Accommodations
Counsellors and teachers live on the floor with the students. The aim is to create a family atmosphere, to ensure the wellbeing of each child and to have a permanent presence to maintain order and security.
Boys and girls sleep in separate buildings with Juniors and Seniors on separate floors.
Any request to share a room with someone in particular should be communicated to the school one week before the camp starts. We try to make sure that each room is occupied by 2 different nationalities/cultures to ensure an intercultural exchange.
All our rooms are spacious twins with en-suite bathrooms that are shared between two rooms. All bedding and towels are provided.
Meals
Internationally inspired meals are served by our kitchen staff. Meals are prepared by our dedicated chefs and staff who pay meticulous attention to quality, presentation and flavour to produce healthy, balanced menus. Vegetarian menus are always offered.
During mealtimes, each student is assigned a table which is also shared with the camp teachers. Attendance at all meals is compulsory.
Any food allergies should be clearly indicated in the health questionnaire. Meals on the menu containing pork will be indicated.
Unfortunately, we are unable to provide Kosher, Halal or vegan meals.
We know how important birthdays are, and especially so if it’s the first time the children are celebrating it away from home. We’ll organise cake, balloons and sing ‘Happy Birthday’ in the dining room.
Pocket Money
The recommended pocket money amount was charged along with the camp fees for boarding campers. Day campers should bring a maximum of CHF 30 with them every day.
Children will be able to withdraw small sums of pocket money, 1 or 2 times per week, from the person in charge. Once the money has been given to the child, it is up to him/her to be responsible for it.
If you wish to leave extra pocket money with the Direction upon arrival, please note that only cash in Swiss Francs can be received. We do not change foreign currencies.
Other expenses such as medical fees in case of illness, personal expenses (stamps, phone calls, shopping, excess baggage, etc.) are paid from the remaining pocket money.
Any amount still outstanding from the camp fees on the child’s account may be settled from the child’s pocket money.
If your child is travelling as UM (Unaccompanied Minor), the UM service must be paid to the airline prior to arrival to the camp.
